Today 79 years ago, American actress Linda Hunt was born in New Jersey.
Her breakout role in 1982's 'The Year of Living Dangerously' as a Chinese American man landed her as the only actress to ever win an Oscar for playing the opposite gender. That record still stands today.
She went on to do many notable roles throughout movies and TV, including her most famous role as the tough-as-nails Mama Bear leader, Henrietta (Hetty) Lange, in NCIS Los Angeles.
Happy birthday, sweetie!! 🥳🎉
