The Daily Rant

The Daily Rant, a place for the community to express their concerns, post a complaint. A place to loudly and angrily grumble about a specific annoyance, frustration, or social issue. It's aim is to act as a place to freely blow off some steam and vent strong negative feelings stirring inside in a safe, non judgemental space. 

The Daily Rant will have clear boundaries to balance free expression with safety. Essential ground rules to keep the platform engaging while preventing abuse, harassment, and legal trouble. 

Safety and Content Rules

No Hate Speech: Ban attacks based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
No Doxxing or Personal Info: Do not allow real names, phone numbers, addresses, or private photos of private individuals.
No Direct Threats: Remove any content encouraging physical violence, harm, or illegal acts.
No Defamation: Block unverified accusations of criminal behavior or fraud against specific people or small local businesses that could lead to libel issues. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Community and Posting Standards

No Witch Hunts: Do not target specific private users, coordinate harassment, or send users to attack external profiles or pages. [1, 2]
Keep it Thematic: Require rants to focus on everyday frustrations, absurd situations, or systemic annoyances rather than broad political mudslinging if you want to avoid toxic polarization. [1]
No Spam or Self-Promotion: Delete commercial links, crypto pitches, or self-promotional blog links hidden inside a vent. [1, 2]
Use Profanity Wisely: Discourage endless, lazy streams of slurs; allow strong language for flavor, but draw the line at abusive harassment
